چکیده

Abstract We propose that TIC 448892817 is a double-mode high-amplitude δ Scuti star. The radial modes detected in this star provide unique opportunity to exploit asteroseismic techniques up their limits. 30 significant frequencies are by frequency analysis, while two of them independent frequencies, i.e., F0 = 13.43538(2) day −1 and F1 17.27007(4) . ratio f 1 / 2 measured be 0.777957(2), suggesting target Nearly all the light variation due these combination but several other very low amplitude also present. stellar evolutionary models were constructed with different mass M metallicity Z using Modules for Experiments Stellar Astrophysics (MESA). obtained model smaller than those observation. This might caused rotation pointing rotational effects more important previously thought HADS stars. something deserves investigated future works including moderate intermediate rotators such as FILOU. On hand, parameters from MESA agree well previous results observational spectra. best-fitting shows close entering first turnoff main sequence. In order accurately determine effective temperature metallicities, thus further narrowing parameter space star, we suggest high-resolution spectra highly desired future.

A comprehensive asteroseismic modelling of the high-amplitude δ Scuti star RV Arietis

We present a comprehensive asteroseismic study of the double-mode high-amplitude δ Scuti star HD 187642 (RV Ari). The modelling includes some of the most recent techniques: 1) effects of rotation on both equilibrium models and adiabatic oscillation spectrum, 2) non-adiabatic study of radial and non-radial modes, 3) relationship between the fundamental radial mode and the first overtone in the f...

A photometric monitoring of bright high - amplitude δ Scuti stars I . The double - mode pulsation of V 567 Ophiuchi

We present the first results of an observational project, which addresses the period changing behaviour of a sample of high-amplitude δ Scuti stars. In this paper we discuss the double-mode nature of V567 Ophiuchi. It was observed on 15 nights in two consecutive years in order to resolve the long-standing ambiguity related to its secondary period. A frequency analysis of almost 5000 individual ...

The first high-amplitude δ Scuti star in an eclipsing binary system

We report the discovery of the first high-amplitude δ Scuti star in an eclipsing binary, which we have designated UNSW-V-500. The system is an Algol-type semi-detached eclipsing binary of maximum brightness V = 12.52 mag. A best-fitting solution to the binary light curve and two radial velocity curves is derived using the Wilson–Devinney code. We identify a late-A spectral-type primary componen...

Photometry and asteroseismology of δ Scuti stars in Praesepe

We discuss observations and seismic analyses for three multi-periodic δ Scuti stars in the Praesepe cluster: BU, BN and BV Cnc. For two stars (BU and BN Cnc) we re-analyse published photoelectric photometry and show that using statistical weights results in a dramatic reduction in the noise level. We detect seven frequencies in BU Cnc and eight in BN Cnc, with three of the latter being previous...

Incidence of high-amplitude δ Scuti type variable stars

An order-of-magnitude estimate for the incidence of high-amplitude δ Scuti-type variable stars (HADS) in the δ Scuti area of the H-R diagram is calculated. Using a model for the stellar distribution in the Milky Way, we calculate the number of stars that are expected to fall in the δ Scuti area of the H-R diagram within the magnitude range and sky coverage of the ROTSE Survey for Variables I (R...
